Hello,Cherie.I'm from Xuzhou. We're not far from each other.(compared with the distance between we and Brian^-^)
And hello rach369 and xqe1987 and Titanilla ,I feel so good to be warmly welcomed.
I have some questions, some of them may sound silly: 1.The gym for skating must be very warm inside, for I saw skaters wear thin clothes, right? Then how do they keep the ice from melt? 2.What does Brian do in the summer?Do skaters train only in winter or they have special places to skate in other time of the year? 3.If Brian is mot married, why is he always wearing a ring? 4.How to use the-Eh,how to say that in English,Cherie ,help me-±íÇ飿

Hello, Joy, welcome to the board!! No way! Ice rinks are SOOOOOO cold, it's not even funny! I think they wear thin clothes because they are moving around and getting REALLY sweaty. I should think they get pretty hot. Of course, Babou is already so...

Joy, I will try to answer your questions... 1. Icerinks are FREEZING! Even us skaters regularly are in there shivering, but in competition, when you are concentrating on warming up your muscles before skating, you actually get pretty warm in the sweaters so you take them off. And in my case at least, my coach makes me shed the layers, so I am in the thin clothing and absolutely freezing. Oh well.2. Skaters train year-round. At least where I live, probably 90 percent of ice rinks are open year-round. To be good at the sport, you have to work and train very hard all year. Brian spent last summer in America training with some coaches there and working on his programs he has been using this season. 3. He likes jewellry. 4. The kanji (Hanzi? Š¿Žš) do not display on my computer I study Japanese so if I could see them I *might* be able to help because the characters have similiar if not identical meanings. ^_^

Brian Joubert+jewellry = Major major hot guy!! 4. My computer's sort of screwed up. Is that supposed to say "biao qing"? Do you mean the smileys? When you go to the reply page, there's the little smiley faces right above the text box. You just have to click on them. If you go further up the page, under the Brian picture and the ad, it says "click to see more smilies. Click on that and more smilies will appear. You just have to click on these when you want to insert them also. Hope that answered your question.

I've always wanted to learn Japanese. It's a cool language. All I do is listen to Japanese music, even though I have no idea what's being said. it just sounds cool. Unfortunately, my Japanese vocab is very limited. Let's just say, I have nothing nice to say.

Haha, I know what you mean, xqe1987...^.~ But you know quite a bit of Chinese, I wonder how much of the kanji transfers over...but it is so funny that they share some of the same characters, because the two languages sound soooo different!

There are alot of characters that are exactly the same, and many of those that are different, I can usually guess what they are. When I visited China, I there was this Japanese guy sitting next to me on the train. He didn't know nay Chinese, so he had this little notepad and pen with him and he basically wrote down everything he had to say. Everyone understood him. Except for me that is. He couldn't speak Chinese, and I couldn't read Chinese, so we ended up speaking English.
